Terms of Service
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms cover your use of Inventory Guard, a Shopify app operated by Sooperstack Studio (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship based in Bangladesh. Installing the app means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may do so.
1. What the app does
Inventory Guard reads your store’s products, inventory, locations and orders, reports problems it finds, estimates what they put at risk, and forecasts when stock will run out. It has read-only access: it never edits your products, stock or orders. Every fix is yours to make.
2. Plans, trial and billing
- Free, Starter ($29/month) and Growth ($79/month). Prices are in USD and exclude any tax Shopify collects.
- Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, once per store. Reinstalling does not give a new trial.
- Billing runs through Shopify. Shopify charges you every 30 days on your Shopify invoice, and we never see your card details.
- Cancel or switch plans at any time from the Plans page. Cancelling stops future charges; we do not refund the current period, and Shopify’s own refund rules still apply.
- If we change a price, installed merchants get at least 30 days’ notice by email and must approve the new charge in Shopify before it takes effect.
- If a charge fails or a subscription lapses, the store returns to the Free plan. Your history stays, and paid checks resume when you subscribe again.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your Shopify account secure. Anyone with staff access to your store can see the app.
- Keep the app’s settings accurate — handling time, lead time, cover days — or its findings will be off.
- Do not resell, sublicense or copy the app, reverse engineer it, or use it to overload or attack our systems or Shopify’s.
4. Advice, not decisions
The app’s findings, money-at-risk figures, forecasts and suggested reorder quantities are estimates built from your store’s data. They are there to help you decide, not to decide for you. We are not liable for purchasing, pricing or fulfillment decisions made from them. Check anything important against your own records before acting.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the app running and scans on schedule, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Shopify’s API limits, outages and maintenance can delay a scan or an alert. We do not guarantee that every problem in your store will be detected, or detected immediately.
6. Your data
Your store’s data stays yours. We process it only to run the app, as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Uninstalling deletes what we hold.
7. Our rights in the app
We own the app, its code, design and content. These terms grant you the right to use it while you have a valid installation, nothing more.
8. Ending the agreement
You may uninstall at any time; that ends these terms and any future charges. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if we are required to, or if we discontinue the app — in the last case we will give installed merchants at least 30 days’ notice by email.
9. Liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to installed merchants at least 30 days ahead. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes go to the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. This does not remove any consumer or data protection right you have where you live, including under the GDPR — see our Privacy Policy for how those are handled.
